FRUIT FLY ERADICATION RESPONSE

$45 million in 2025-26 to continue emergency fruit fly response activities following further outbreaks, assisting in protecting South Australia’s pest free status and providing market access continuity for the state’s horticulture products.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES

$11.8 million over five years for costs associated with Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV), High Pathogenicity Avian Influenza responses and Electric Ant Eradication Program, including contributions from other government parties and industry towards the ToBRFV response in South Australia.
